Frequently Asked Questions
Which plan is right for me?▾
Start on Free to try everything that matters. Move to Starter ($5/mo) when you want to remove the OGImg watermark and need more renders for one or two sites. Choose Pro when you want custom fonts, custom HTML/CSS templates and AI tag recommendations, and Agency for team access and high volume.
How do I upgrade?▾
You can upgrade your plan at any time directly from your dashboard. Navigate to the Billing section and select the plan that best fits your needs. The new plan takes effect as soon as your payment is confirmed, usually within moments.
What counts toward my monthly limit?▾
Every request to your image URL counts, including repeat requests that are served from the cache. Requests that fail with a server error aren't counted. A page that is shared and previewed often uses more of your limit than the number of distinct images it has.
What happens if I exceed my limit?▾
We will notify you via email when you reach 80% and 100% of your usage limit. Once you exceed your limit, API requests will return a 429 status code until the next billing cycle.
Can I get a refund?▾
Yes. Ask within 14 days of any subscription payment and we refund that payment in full; duplicate or mistaken charges are refunded whenever they are found. Email support@ogimg.net from your account address. The full terms are in our Refund Policy, linked in the footer.
Is there a free trial?▾
We offer a generous Free tier that provides 500 requests per month, which acts as a perpetual free trial. Use it to fully test the API before upgrading.
